Both Parties are “Socialist”

Author Since the dawn of socialism in the late 1800′s both the Democrats and Republicans have adopted it.
The Republicans to a lesser degree which is strange when you consider that Theodore Roosevelt was the first “Socialist President”. Having said that the Democratic party has taken the socialist message whole hog. The Republicans have socialist tendencies but aren’t rabid. Prior to the publication of “Das Capital”. The was no socialist tendency at all in the US. The US Government ran less than 5% of GDP except during the civil war where it reached 17%, after the war it dropped back to 5% where it stayed until, he great depression.
After the great depression both parties embraced “Socialism” and the government has steadily consumed more and more of the national wealth. As of today, the Federal Government consumes 30% of GDP, and owes 100% of GDP in debt.
The US Government is in fact insolvent as of right now.
Both Parties are to blame. There have been from time to time in the Republican Party attempts to kill its socialist tendencies, IE Calvin Coolidge, Barry Goldwater and todays TeaParty movement. However the Republican party remains in the hands of “Socialists”. To my knowledge there has never been an attempt to purify the “democratic” party.
The difference between the 2 parties today is the Democrats are Socialist in the Hitler tradition believing that the individual belongs to the State, While the Republicans are more English in their “socialism”, which means you are free but your money belongs to the state.
Both parties have betrayed the Constitution
In the United States, the people own the Government not the other way around. In the United States, its the “Individual” that matters most. You should be free to live your life as you see fit, with out so much as a by or leave. The American Dream, is to live free from government coercion, free to fail or to succeed, free to prosper or to squander. That is close to being lost. It is being replaced by the “New American Dream” which is to be free to be mediocre, free to do exactly as the Government tells you.

This guy is even worse than I thought. If half of this article is true we are lucky to have some people with balls around the President to force him to act.
The real entertaining thing here is how Obama went on TV gloating about how “HE” made the decision. When the reality is he was forced to by Hillary Clinton, and Leon Panetta.

Imagine you’re the President,
for 15 years your country has been on the trail of a known mass murderer. A person who has been at the top of the FBIs most wanted list for a decade, a person who admitted on video tape about planning the deaths of 3000 innocent people, just for the shock value, and then carried out the plan. Part of your campaign to get elected was to “Go out and get the guy”. . . You promised to refocus efforts to punish the mass murderer. Then one afternoon you are told “We have him. . . We can get him, do you want precision bombs or a seal team infiltration”?
What is your response; Tell me more, maybe, what do you guys recommend? Bear in mind the US has a long history of dealing with guys like this, there is plenty of precedent, Che Guevara, Bonny and Clyde even John Dillinger, so there is no question it is legal to kill the guy. Also the man publicly declared war on the US in 1996 and had been actively wagging that war.
What would you say?
Bill Clinton said let him go I’m not interested in him, allowing the 9/11 attack. George Bush and Don Rumsfeld both said “Damn it . . . go kill the guy what are you calling me for”? However, he escaped because the CIA didn’t act, I don’t have proof but I suspect this is the real reason the CIA chief was later dumped.
So now we come to you, what do you do?
I know what I would do, ” Go kill him! Do it however you think most effective but do something now. . . we don’t want him to slip away again!” isn’t that reasonable?
What did B. Obama do “Gee guys 15 years on the most wanted list isn’t enough time to decide. . . Give me another 16 hours” he said and then he went to bed, “To sleep on it.”
All I can say is WOW.
Why do we not hear about this in the US press, he is our Un-Decider in Chief. This should be the focus of the story not what a hero B. Obama is for deciding to kill Osama Bin Ladin, but what a weak waffler he is for needing an additional 16 hours. At least Bill Clinton made a decision quickly turned out to be wrong but you can’t fault him for indecision, in Clinton’s defense he didn’t campaign on killing Bin Ladin. B. Obama made getting Bin Ladin his primary attack on the Bush administration, he said repeatedly the focus should be in Afghanistan and on getting Osama Bin Ladin. When he finally gets a chance to be Presidential he has to “Sleep on it”.
Like I said Un-Decider in Chief.

How the House Can Fix The Budget
I am having a hard time seeing what all the trouble is with geting spending under control. It seems to me the House of Representatives holds all the cards.
All bills for appropriations must originate in the House. This is a fancy way of saying the House controls the check book. So it seems to me that if Boehner really wanted to cut spending in a meaningful way they could just do it. The house can go ahead and approve a budget and send it on up the chain. NO compromise take our budget or you get NOTHING. If the House approves a budget its up to the Senate and President to take it. If either does not than it is they and not the House that is shutting down government. The House is supposed to be firm with the nations finances. Instead they act like little whiping boys.
The whole thing is pathetic, man up, pass a balanced budget and then tell the Senate and President, that’s it Take it or Leave it. It seems to me they have spent so much time compromising they have forgot how to be firm.
The Declaration of Independence
It has been 235 years since our nations fathers separated from England by issuing a historic declaration, backing it with their blood.
The Declaration of Independence is more than just a Dear John letter to King George and Parliament, it is an explanation of the inadequacies of British rule in the minds of the colonists. Thomas Jefferson goes point by point in the document expressing those inadequacies, he details for his reader how the Crown has failed to live up to itself and how the Crown has treated the colonists in an inhumane way. Since the treatment has been so egregious no remedy remains except a total political separation from the Crown and Parliament. The following is a partial list of those grievances:
The King has denied to provide government livelihoods’ for his subjects, especially those who are less fortunate than others
The King forces his subjects to pay for their own healthcare(this was remedied much later)
Tax rates were set to raise revenue and not to soak the evil rich who deserve to pay more
The King had no system to redistribute wealth, especially from the middle merchant class to the indolent
Banks actually were allowed to foreclose on properties where the mortgages remained Un-Paid
The King refused to grant the indolent the “New Human Rights” of Housing, Food, Healthcare and Education, at the expense of others
The environment was left to fend for itself, The King has issued no restrictions on breathing to limit the impact of CO2
It has been a long haul for the Untied States, and many generations have passed. Many of those items which have seemed so elusive, those dreams of our founding fathers, are about to realized. For me I am proud that Barack Hussein Obama has finally been able to give us The American Dream and all without paying for any of it.
Thomas Jefferson’s “Wolf By The Ears”
Thomas Jefferson once commented on slavery as being like holding a wolf by the ears, You can’t do it forever, but you really don’t want to let go.
We have a similar “Wolf” today, currently 40% of the Federal Budget is allocated to Medicare and other social programs. The bulk of which is actually Medicare. The fastest growing un-funded liability in the Federal Budget is Medicare, according to the Congressional Budget Office, if unchecked Medicare spending will be 60% of the Federal Budget in a few short years. Think about that for a moment and let it sink in.
60% of the Federal Budget will be going to Medicare, with such a big bull running around the china shop, I wonder why we are talking about ridiculous things like bridges to no-where or John Murtha’s airport. 60% of the budget is going to be spent on extra-constitutional welfare. This is enough to break the country.
So what do we do about it?
Why is this not a national story?
It seems like no-one will touch it, I understand why politicians wont touch it, since the elderly are the single largest segment of likely voters. However I don’t know why, this story is ignored by others. In a time of national fiscal crisis it seems that the single biggest budget buster ought to be on the table for discussion.
In my opinion it out to be eliminated, or at least severely curtailed so only destitute persons could partake. At the very least we should eliminate the loopholes that allow companies to direct market scooters to greedy old timers.

Greensburg, Kan, destroyed by a tornado – leveled by a tornado, I drove through this town shortly after the event and the town was, well Basically it was gone.
I also drove through New Orleans shortly after Katrina, and New Orleans was NOT gone. In fact it looked just as dumpy as it did before Katrina. With the exception that things looked a little wetter.
Now again its important to know that Greensburg, Kans. was totally gone, the tornado left it erased, as if a giant bulldozer pushed the town into a ruble pit. Nothing of this magnitude happened to New Orleans. The Big Easy, was under water in some neighborhoods for a few weeks. It was smelly, sure, moldy of course, but NOT erased.
Have you ever heard of Greensburg, Kans., it has been rebuilt from the ground up. Why – the residents didn’t sit around bitching at the government for help. They went to work. There, were no Rebuild Greensburg rallies or petitions to congress, it was just resident with shovels.
I cant imagine the mentality of people who refuse to clean up there own yards and then blame the rest of the country for the toilet of a city they live in.
Why isn’t Mobile, Al still in ruin – it was hit as hard?
I’m not sure, but I guess that New Orleans is still a wreck because the People of New Orleans wont get off their dead rear-ends and clean it up themselves.
They shouldn’t be given any Federal money, not one cent. The problem with New Orleans is not Katrina, but rather a culture of corruption in its politics and laziness by its citizens. New Orleans acts like it is the only city that has ever had a natural disaster.
Shame on YOU – New Orleans residents, clean up your own back yards.

WOW – It is true care for Prematurely born infants can be expensive. However, is that a justifiable reason to let the baby just die?
This is unbelievable – not so much that this would happen in England – but that YOU want this type of system in the United States. Talk about death panels. In the English and Canadian wonderful socialized health systems, treatable illnesses routinely result in DEATH because of the LACK of treatment. In every category I read about, the United States has higher survival rates when comparing disease to disease.
Even if we didn’t – at least in the US you get treated. Can you imagine the fallout had this happened in any US hospital. Health care in the US is expensive – but would you rather be DEAD.
Would you rather declare bankruptcy, and have a living child – or not declare bankruptcy and have your baby die in your arms, IN a hospital that refuses care because in your FREE health care system care is not allowed.
What the hell kind of doctors do they have in the UK anyway?
I don’t have any children, but I know if this had happened to me and I was in the hospital and a doctor refused care to my child – the doctor himself would need to be admitted to the ER for care.
This is just another example of why, you should not want Government provided healthcare.
Remember – EXPENSIVE – healthcare that allows you to be treated is WAY cheaper than FREE healthcare that forces you to DIE.

Congratulations, a less deserving person could not have been picked. President Obama has entered the ranks of such notables as Yasser Arafat.
This award goes to show that if a person gets up every day, becomes a communist, gets elected to the office of President of The United States through massive alleged voter fraud by groups such as ACORN, that his accomplishments will be recognized by a group of leftwing wackos in Europe.

House OKs measure to make anti-gay violence a hate crime — latimes.com
I have a hard time understanding why it is more of a crime to attack somebody because you hate their “Gayness” than to attack somebody because you want their wallet.
What if you attack someone for no perceivable reason at all, is that LESS of a crime than if you attack them because you want their wallet.
In the case of Mathew Sheppard, would he be LESS dead had he been straight?
Or for that matter if somebody happens to be straight yet you think he is “GAY” and then you steal his wallet is that a hate crime or just plain old theft.
How about if you’re attending a KKK rally and as you leave you are run over by a black-homosexual driving a truck with a “Re-Elect Obama” sticker on its bumper, would that be a simple car accident, or is it a politically inspired hate accident?
If the driver yelled out the window before the accident, “Get out’-a my way you hick” does that make the accident a crime.
Lets say you actually do have an animus for Republicans, and you punch Sean Hannity in the chops, but you never told anyone of your animus for Republicans, does your silence convert this from a hate crime to just a simple assault?
A final example suppose you’re a self-loathing homosexual, and you are attending a Liza Minnelli concert with some friends. During the concert you get into a fight with your “Life-Partner”, resulting in injuries, during the scuff you yell out
“You’re just a little fag.”
Does that constitute a hate crime? Or does your being part of the hated group exempt you from hating the group?
There are many thorny issues that need to be weighed here. Life would be much easier on all of us if things were kept simple, Mathew Sheppard was apparently murdered and the murderer should be tried for that crime and NOT for what he thought about gays before the crime.
